Reopening of the Museum on Tuesday 19th May !
Good news : the international Carnival and Mask Museum reopens its doors to the public on Tuesday 19th May. A series of measures have been taken in order to ensure safety for everyone and to offer you a pleasant visit full of discoveries.
OPENING HOURS & RESERVATIONS: All visits require advance reservationspecifying the desired day and time of your visit as well as the number of persons accompanying you.
We welcome you every quarter of an hourfrom Tuesday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

LIMITATIONS & SOCIAL DISTANCING: Visitors are admitted in small groups with a maximum number of 10 persons. The rules of social distancing are applied. We ask visitors to respect a distance of at least 1,50 m(except persons belonging to the same family, visiting together at the same pace).
1 TRAIL & 3 EXHIBITIONS: There is one marked one-way trail to avoid that visitors pass one another.
It leads through our temporary exhibition « Ticuna – A people from the Amazone» (prolonged until 30th August) and our permanent gallery « Masks from all around the world » and the Interpretation Centre on the Carnival of Binche.
MASK & DISINFECTING GEL: Wearing a face maskis compulsoryduring your entire visit. We strongly recommend to bring your own mask. If you don’t, we offeryou a cloth mask. There is disinfecting gelavailable to our visitors the useof which is compulsorywhen entering and leaving the museum.
PAYMENT & MUSEUM SHOP: The payment of ticketsmust be made exclusively by card (bancontact). Our museum shopis open. Payment also has to be made by card.
RECEPTION PERSONNEL & ATTENDANTS: Of course, our team is delighted to welcome you again ! However, we will ensure that all these measures are strictly respected. Your safety and that of our personnel is at stake.
Finally, even though all safety measures in terms of protection, cleaning and disinfection are taken, the Cafeteria as well as the Cloakroam will stay closed.
